White Doves of Vermont will release white doves for weddings, funerals, birthdays, graduations, parades, sporting events and grand openings.

We can make any special occasion unforgettable, and we specialize in weddings that will provide wonderful memories to last a lifetime. When the doves are released, they usually circle several times overhead, allowing the crowd to fully admire their beauty.  A dove release is a symbolic and breathtaking touch for every wedding from the most intimate ceremony to the grandest affair.

The birds are in no way harmed -- in fact, they are capable of flying hundreds of miles to find their way home. Their health, happiness and safety are our primary concern. Since the beginning of our recorded history, White Doves have been a symbol of peace, innocence, purity, fidelity and love. Some cultures believe it’s a symbol of good luck and that good fortune will last throughout their marriage if a bride and groom see a White Dove on their wedding day. Keep in mind as stated before, these birds are white homing pigeons.
Releasing beautiful pure White Doves as part of a wedding ceremony is a visual and physical promise of fidelity, made by the bride and groom, promising they will be faithful to each other, as are Doves, “until death do us part”. These birds do mate for life.
The White color of the Doves symbolizes the bride and groom are, and will be, pure to each other “from this day forward”. The Doves flying home together symbolizes the couple beginning their journey to start a home of their own.
White Doves of Vermont, silhouetted against the skyline are a fitting symbol for the union of a bride and groom, and make the wedding celebration a memorable event. Everyone will enjoy this featrure to your wedding day!
A graveside service with a White Doves of Vermont, White Dove release presents a quiet moment of reflection and comfort. It gives closure and a sense of enlightenment that the spirit has lifted and become free. Several times I have seen tears turn to smiles as guest watch the birds circle overhead and fly away.
For a once-in-a-lifetime experience, celebrate and enjoy a White Doves of Vermont, White Dove release. Packages can be customized to meet your needs and priced accordingly.

LEGEND OF THE DOVES

Once the Lord of Heaven chose two doves,
Both young and fair,
And told them of a very special journey
they would share.

"Go now upon the earth and seek two hearts
Where you may dwell,
And there shall I surely come
And make my home with you as well.
We'll join the two and make them one,
A husband and his wife,
My spirit will endow their love
With everlasting life."

Today the doves still bring
The sacred promise from above
To those whose hearts are open
To the miracle of love.
